Jonathan Hope in Concert

An organ recital featuring British Organist, Jonathan Hope on the magnificent Rodgers Pipe Organ at:

Jonathan Hope was born in 1988. Educated at George Abbot School in Guildford, his teachers included Stephen Lacey and John Belcher, before he moved to study with Margaret Phillips at the Royal College of Music in 2007.

Hope performs both at home and abroad, often receiving critical acclaim.  Hope won awards at the Godalming Music Festival five times as well as success in other competitions, including the 2005 Royal College of Organists' National Performance Festival for Young Organists at Symphony Hall, Birmingham.

He has performed in venues across Britain, Europe and the USA notably Freiburg Cathedral, Germany, where he made his European debut in April 2007.  Recent performances have included Christ Church Priory, Brentwood Cathedral and a performance of Stockhausen's Trans with the Royal College of Music Orchestra in London's Southbank Centre.  Plans for 2009 include performances in Germany and the USA.
